What this workflow does

Someone who books a call or appointment has already shown real interest, which makes them worth adding to your mailing list. Copying each booker into Mailbluster by hand is slow, and the odd mistyped address will only bounce later. This workflow moves bookers into Mailbluster for you and checks the address on the way.

A new booking in TuCalendi starts the run. FlowMattic sends the booker's email address to EmailListVerify with the Verify Single Email action, and the answer it gets back is stored as data for the next steps.

A Filter set to Continue If sits in the middle. After import you tell it which EmailListVerify result counts as a pass. A booking that passes goes on to Mailbluster, where Create a New Lead adds the person using the booking details you map. A booking that fails stops at the Filter, so that address never reaches your list.

The booking itself is untouched. It stays in TuCalendi on your calendar either way, and Task History shows each run with the step where it ended.

Changes worth making after you import it.

Make a test booking with your own address once the workflow is imported. Task History then shows the exact value EmailListVerify returns, which is the value to use in the Filter condition.
Add a second condition to the Filter if only some bookings should become leads, for example bookings for one particular service or event type.
To follow up with people whose address failed, change the Filter to a Router and add a step on the failing route, such as a notification to yourself.

Questions about this workflow

Does a failed email check cancel the booking?

No. The workflow only reads the booking after TuCalendi creates it. A failed check just means no Mailbluster lead is created for that person.

What if the booker is already a lead in Mailbluster?

The template uses Create a New Lead and has no step that looks for an existing lead first. Test with an address that is already in your list to see how Mailbluster handles it before you switch the workflow on.

Which accounts do I need?

A TuCalendi account for the trigger, an EmailListVerify account for the check, and a Mailbluster account to receive the leads. You connect each one in its step after import.

Is the Filter ready to use as imported?

The step is there, but its condition is left for you to set. Run a test booking first, then base the condition on the result EmailListVerify returned.
