What this workflow does
Telegram is a popular home for trading alerts because it runs on phone and desktop and handles groups well. This workflow connects your TradingView alerts to it, so each signal shows up as a Telegram text a moment after it fires.
Start by putting the webhook URL from the TradingView trigger into the webhook field of your alert. When the alert goes off, TradingView sends its message to FlowMattic, where it becomes data for the next step. That step is Send a Text Message in Telegram. You write the message, inserting the alert text alongside any fixed wording, and a test alert confirms which chat it reaches.
The workflow sends and stops. It doesn't reply to TradingView, place orders or keep a separate log beyond Task History, which lists each run with the alert content it received. That record is useful when you want to check exactly when a signal fired.

Telegram itself allows it, as long as the sending account is a member of the group. Check with a test alert that the step delivers to your group.
What text will I receive?
The wording you write in the Telegram step, including whatever message your TradingView alert sends. Clear alert text in TradingView gives clear Telegram messages.
Do all my TradingView alerts start this workflow?
No. Only alerts that have this trigger's webhook URL set will reach FlowMattic. Add the URL to each alert you want forwarded.
Can I send the same alert to Telegram and somewhere else?
Yes. Add more actions after the Telegram step, such as a Slack or WhatsApp message, and map the same alert text into each.
