Log every LinkedCamp lead reply in a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Each time a lead replies to your LinkedCamp outreach, this workflow adds a row to Google Sheets, giving you one running record of LinkedIn replies to sort, share and follow up from.

LinkedCamp Google Sheets

2 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 1.6k sites Free to import

The Log every LinkedCamp lead reply in a Google Sheets spreadsheet workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across LinkedCamp, Google Sheets
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

LinkedCamp runs your LinkedIn outreach, and the replies are what you are waiting for. Keeping track of who answered, from which campaign, usually means opening LinkedIn and copying names into a list. When several people share the follow-up, a spreadsheet is easier to work from than an inbox.

The LinkedCamp trigger is Lead Replies, which fires when a lead replies. FlowMattic passes the reply data to Google Sheets, and the Add New Row step writes it to the spreadsheet and tab you choose. You map which LinkedCamp value goes into which column.

A lead who replies more than once creates more than one row, because each reply is its own event. That gives you a log of replies rather than a list of unique leads. Task History records each run, with the data from LinkedCamp and the result from Google Sheets.

Reply tracker for an SDR team

SDRs claim rows in the sheet as they follow up, so two people don't answer the same LinkedIn reply.

Campaign comparison

If the reply data names the campaign, map it to a column and count replies per LinkedCamp campaign to see which messaging gets answers.

Client reporting for a lead-gen agency

Share the Google Sheets log with a client, so they see each reply their LinkedIn campaign produced without a LinkedCamp login.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    LinkedCamp Lead Replies

Runs when a lead replies to your LinkedCamp outreach. The reply data is passed on so you can map it into the spreadsheet.

  2. Step 2Action
    Google Sheets Add New Row

Writes the reply to a new row in the Google Sheets spreadsheet and tab you pick. Connect your Google account and map each column to a LinkedCamp value.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • LinkedCamp AccountAccount
  • Google Sheets AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Add columns that the workflow leaves blank, such as Owner and Status, so your team can mark each reply as handled in the sheet.
  • Wait for a real reply, or have a colleague answer a test message, so FlowMattic captures LinkedCamp's data before you map the columns.
  • To log accepted invitations as well, build a second workflow on LinkedCamp's Prospect Accept trigger and send it to a separate tab.

Questions about this workflow

Does the sheet get one row per LinkedCamp lead or per reply?

Per reply. Each reply fires the trigger, so a lead who writes back twice gets two rows.

Which LinkedCamp details can go into Google Sheets?

Whatever LinkedCamp sends with the Lead Replies event. Check the trigger data from a real reply to see the values you can map.

Are replies from before import logged?

No. Only replies that come in after you turn the workflow on are added to the sheet.
