When a new booking is created in Probooking, add a subscriber in Campaign Monitor
Each new Probooking booking adds the customer to a Campaign Monitor list as a subscriber, using the name and email from the booking, so people who book with you join the list you send campaigns to.

What this workflow does
Your booking calendar collects names and email addresses every day, but they stay in Probooking unless you export them. This workflow adds each new booker to Campaign Monitor, so your mailing list keeps up with your bookings.
The Probooking trigger is New Booking Created, which fires when a new booking is created. FlowMattic receives the booking details and makes them available to map. The Campaign Monitor step runs Add Subscriber, which adds a new subscriber to the list you pick. Map the customer's email from the booking and their name if you want it on the subscriber.
Probooking has separate triggers for rescheduled and cancelled bookings, and this workflow uses neither. Add bookers to the list only when they have agreed to hear from you. Task History records each run and Campaign Monitor's response.
Personal trainer client list
Every client who books a session through Probooking joins the trainer's Campaign Monitor list for workout tips and class news.
Consultancy newsletter
Prospects who book a discovery call are added to the list the consultancy uses for its monthly newsletter.
Repair shop service reminders
Customers booking a repair are added to Campaign Monitor, so the shop can send seasonal service reminders later.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Probooking New Booking CreatedRuns for every booking newly created in your Probooking calendar. Make a test booking after connecting the app so the customer's name and email can be mapped.
Campaign Monitor Add SubscriberAdds the customer as a subscriber to your chosen Campaign Monitor list. Map the email from the Probooking booking, plus the name, and connect your Campaign Monitor account.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Probooking AccountAccount
- Campaign Monitor AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Only some services should feed the list? Add a Filter after the trigger that continues when the booked service matches the one you want.
- If a customer later cancels and should leave the list, build a second workflow on Probooking's Booking Cancelled trigger with Campaign Monitor's Unsubscribe action.
- Book a test appointment with your own address and look for yourself in the Campaign Monitor list before going live.
Questions about this workflow
What if the Probooking customer is already on my Campaign Monitor list?
The step is Add Subscriber, and Campaign Monitor decides how it treats an address that is already there. Check Task History after a test with an existing address to see its response.
Does the Probooking booking need an email address?
Yes. Campaign Monitor lists are built on email addresses, so a booking without one can't become a subscriber. Task History shows the error on that run.
Can Probooking customers go to a different list per service?
Yes. Replace the single step with a Router, give each route a condition on the service name, and add an Add Subscriber step for each list.
Are earlier Probooking bookings added to Campaign Monitor?
No. Only bookings created after the workflow is turned on reach Campaign Monitor.
