What this workflow does
GoodDay.Work is where your team plans and tracks work. Sometimes you also need that work in a spreadsheet: to count new tasks per week, to share with someone outside the tool, or to feed a report. This workflow keeps a sheet filled with each task as it is created.
The GoodDay.Work trigger fires when a task is created. FlowMattic passes the task's data to Google Sheets, and Add New Row writes the details you mapped into the spreadsheet you select.
The log records tasks at the moment they are made. Status changes, reassignments and completions in GoodDay.Work are not sent afterwards, so use the sheet as a record of what was created and when. You can check each logged task's run in Task History.
Weekly intake count
A team lead filters the sheet by date to see how many GoodDay.Work tasks were created each week and spot busy periods.
Sharing new work with a client
An agency shares the sheet with a client who has no GoodDay.Work access, so they see each task that is opened for their account.
Raw data for a dashboard
The sheet becomes the source for a chart or report built in Google Sheets on tasks created over time.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
GoodDay.Work Create TaskFires when a task is created in GoodDay.Work. That task's data is passed on so you can map it into the spreadsheet.

What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- GoodDay.Work AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Create one test task in GoodDay.Work after import so FlowMattic captures the task data, then map the columns you need.
- Add a Filter between the steps if only some tasks belong in the log, using a task detail you see in a test run.
- Keep a header row in the sheet that names each mapped column, so anyone reading the log knows what each value is.
