What this workflow does
After paying online, customers look for proof that the money reached you. A message from your own business address, naming the order, answers that question before they write in to ask. This workflow sends one through Gmail whenever a CCAvenue payment is completed.
The CCAvenue trigger used here is Order Status, which FlowMattic describes as firing when a customer completes a payment. The order data it receives becomes available to map. The Gmail step sends an email to the address you map, normally the customer's email from the CCAvenue data. You write the subject and body yourself and can include the order number, the amount and anything else the payment data carries.
Every completed payment starts a run, so a customer who pays for two orders gets two confirmations. The message leaves from your connected Gmail account, so it shows in your Sent folder and replies land in your inbox. Should a customer say nothing arrived, Task History shows that order's run.
Online store taking CCAvenue payments
A shop that checks out through CCAvenue sends each paying customer a short confirmation from the store's Gmail address with the order number and amount.
Fee payments for a coaching institute
Students who pay course fees through CCAvenue receive an email confirming the payment, which they can show if anyone asks for proof.
Service bookings paid in advance
A travel or events business sends a confirmation after each prepaid booking, with a line telling the customer what happens next.

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

What you need

- CCAvenue AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make a test payment after import so FlowMattic captures CCAvenue's fields. Check which one holds the customer's email before mapping the Gmail recipient.
- Add a Google Sheets step after Gmail to record each order number, amount and recipient, so you have a list of every confirmation that went out.
- Want your own copy of each confirmation? Add a second Gmail step that sends the same order details to your business address.
Questions about this workflow
Does CCAvenue need to send anything special to FlowMattic?
The trigger listens for CCAvenue's order status data after a payment. Follow the setup shown on the trigger in FlowMattic, then run a test payment to confirm the data arrives.
Will a customer with two CCAvenue orders get two emails?
Yes. Each completed payment starts its own run, so every order gets its own confirmation.
Which address do customers see on the confirmation?
They see whichever Gmail address you connected to the workflow. The confirmation goes out from that account, so replies go back to that inbox.
Are older CCAvenue payments confirmed when I turn this on?
No. Only payments completed after the workflow is active start a run.
