Send a Slack notification when a Myfundbox payment is created
Each time a payment is made through Myfundbox, this workflow posts a message to a Slack channel with the payment details you map, so your team sees incoming money without checking the Myfundbox dashboard.

What this workflow does
Knowing when a payment lands matters to more than the person who looks after the books. Sales wants to know a deal has paid, operations wants to start the work, and nobody wants to refresh a payments dashboard all day. This workflow announces each Myfundbox payment in the Slack channel your team already reads.
The Myfundbox trigger, Payment Created, fires when a payment is done. The payment's details become data you can map. The Slack step, Send Channel Message, then posts to the channel you pick, using text you write with the values you want, such as the amount and who paid.
Every payment produces one message, since the template has no Filter. Payment data can be sensitive, so post to a channel only the right people can see and include only the details they need. Task History keeps a log of each run and Slack's response.
Freelancer tracking client payments
A designer who invoices through Myfundbox gets a Slack message in a personal channel when a client pays, and starts the next stage of the project.
Small agency finance channel
Payments post to a #payments channel that the founders and the bookkeeper read, so everyone sees the same list of what has come in.
Order fulfilment hand-off
When a customer pays, the operations channel sees the message and begins preparing the order, without waiting for someone to forward a receipt.

Slack Send Channel MessageSends a message about the payment to the Slack channel you pick. Write the text, insert the Myfundbox values your team needs, and link your Slack workspace on import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Myfundbox AccountAccount
- Slack AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the trigger with a greater-than condition on the amount, so only larger payments post to Slack. A blank amount counts as 0 and won't pass it.
- To keep payment details out of a shared channel, change the Slack step to Send Direct Message and send each alert to the person who handles billing.
- Run a small test payment after import if you can, then check Task History for the fields Myfundbox provides before you finalise the Slack message.
Questions about this workflow
Does every Myfundbox payment post to Slack?
Yes, as imported. There is no Filter, so each payment Myfundbox reports creates one Slack message. Add a Filter after the trigger to narrow it.
Can the Myfundbox alert go to a private Slack channel?
Send Channel Message is used here. To post into a private channel, switch to Slack's Send Private Channel Message action, which is built for that.
Does the workflow change anything in Myfundbox?
No. It only receives the payment event and posts to Slack. Your Myfundbox records, receipts and settings stay as they are.
Are payments made before I turn this on posted?
No. Only payments completed after the workflow is switched on start a run, so past payments are not sent to Slack.
