What this workflow does

A lead who gets nothing back after showing interest may forget why they got in touch. Writing a short hello to each new MoClients lead is simple, but it is easy to fall behind when leads arrive while you are busy. This workflow sends the same welcome message to each one as soon as MoClients creates the lead.

The MoClients New Lead trigger fires when a lead is created in your account. FlowMattic passes the lead's details to Gmail, and the Send Email action sends a message from the Google account you connect. You write the subject and body once and map in details from the lead, such as their name, so each email reads as personal.

The email goes out from your own Gmail address, so replies land in your inbox like any other mail. A lead with no email address can't receive the message, and Task History shows that run's response on the Gmail step. Leads created before the workflow is on don't get a welcome.

Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the lead's email field is not empty, so runs without an address stop before the Gmail step.

Does every new MoClients lead get the welcome email?

Every lead MoClients creates while the workflow is on starts a run. The template has no Filter, so all of them reach the Gmail step, as long as the lead has an email address to send to.

Which address does the welcome come from?

It comes from whichever Google account you link to the Gmail step during setup. Leads see that address as the sender and their replies go back to it.

Can I change the wording of the MoClients welcome later?

Yes. Edit the subject and body in the Gmail step at any time. The new wording applies to leads created after you save it.
