When form submission is received in Typeform, create a new contact in Sendinblue
Every new Typeform submission creates a contact in Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) from the answers you map, so respondents are ready for your email campaigns.

What this workflow does
A Typeform can gather sign-ups, leads or survey responses, but you can't email those people from Brevo until they are contacts there. Moving them over by CSV takes time and lets the list go stale between exports. This workflow creates the contact as each response arrives.
The Typeform trigger fires when someone submits your form. The respondent's answers are handed to the next step. The Brevo (Sendinblue) step then creates a new contact in your Brevo account, using the email answer and any other answers you map.
The step creates contacts. If the email is already in Brevo, Brevo may refuse the duplicate, and Task History will show its response for that run. Typeform keeps the response either way.
Lead forms on a landing page
An embedded Typeform collects demo requests. Each lead becomes a Brevo contact, so you can send a welcome email from Brevo.
Course or waitlist sign-ups
People join a waitlist through Typeform. They are added to Brevo, where you send launch news to the list.
Post-event feedback with an opt-in
Attendees fill in a feedback Typeform. With a Filter on the opt-in answer, only those who agreed are created as Brevo contacts.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Typeform New Form SubmissionFires each time someone submits your Typeform. Their answers, including the email question, are available to the Brevo step.
Brevo ( Sendinblue ) Create a New ContactCreates a new contact in your Brevo (Sendinblue) account. Map the Typeform email answer to the contact, plus any name or other answers you want to keep. Run a test to check it.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Typeform AccountAccount
- Brevo ( Sendinblue ) AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the Typeform trigger that continues only when your marketing consent answer is yes, so only opted-in people become Brevo contacts.
- Make the Typeform email question required. A response with no address gives Brevo nothing to create a contact from.
- Submit a test response with your own address after import, then check the new contact in Brevo before turning the workflow on.
Questions about this workflow
What if the Typeform respondent is already a Brevo contact?
The step is set to create a contact, not update one. Brevo may reject an address it already has, and Task History will show the response on that step.
Can new Brevo contacts go into a specific list?
Open the Brevo step after import and run a test to see which options it offers. If it takes a list, choose the one your campaigns send to.
Does this send older Typeform responses to Brevo?
No. Only submissions made after the workflow is switched on create contacts.
Is Sendinblue the same as Brevo?
Yes. Brevo is the current name for the service once called Sendinblue. The FlowMattic step is labelled Brevo (Sendinblue) and connects to your Brevo account.
