What this workflow does
A paid order is the signal to start work: pack a parcel, book a session, send a file. If your team plans its day in Taskade, this workflow puts each paid Razorpay order there as a task, so nobody has to watch the payments dashboard to know what to do next.
The Razorpay trigger is Order Paid, which fires when an order in your Razorpay account is paid. It passes the order details, such as the order ID, amount and any notes you attached, to the next step.
The Taskade Add Task step adds a new task to a project. It ships unmapped: after import, connect Taskade, choose the project, and write the task text, mapping in order data such as the order ID and amount so the task says what needs doing.
Every paid order makes one task. Pay a small test order first and check Task History for the data Razorpay sent and Taskade's reply.
Packing list for a small shop
A handmade jewellery seller takes payment through Razorpay and works through a Taskade project where each paid order is a task to pack and ship.
Service bookings to schedule
A tutoring business collects fees with Razorpay orders; each payment adds a task in Taskade to book the student's first class.
Digital work to deliver
A design studio sells logo packages and adds a Taskade task per paid order, so the designer knows which brief to start next.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Razorpay Order PaidFires when an order in your Razorpay account is marked paid. The order ID, amount and other order details are available to map into the task.
Taskade Add TaskAdds a new task to a Taskade project. The step ships unmapped: pick the project and write the task text after import, mapping in the Razorpay order details you need.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Razorpay AccountAccount
- Taskade AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Put the order ID at the start of the task text, so your team can match each Taskade task to the payment in Razorpay.
- Add Taskade's Assign Task step after Add Task to give each new task to the person who handles fulfilment.
- If you also take payments that need no fulfilment, put a Filter between the Razorpay trigger and the Taskade step on a note or amount that marks the orders to fulfil.
Questions about this workflow
Does this fire for Razorpay payment links or invoices?
This template uses Order Paid. Razorpay also has separate Payment Link Paid and Invoice Paid triggers in FlowMattic, so build a copy of the workflow with one of those if you take payments that way.
Which Taskade project receives the tasks?
The one you choose in the Add Task step after import. The step is empty in the template, so pick the project and write the task text before going live.
Is the Taskade task marked done when the order ships?
No. The workflow only adds the task. Your team ticks it off in Taskade as usual.
