What this workflow does
A streaming catalogue grows title by title, and people outside the content team still need to know what's there: marketing planning promos, finance tracking licences, partners asking what's new. Giving all of them access to Muvi isn't always practical. This workflow keeps a spreadsheet of your library that fills itself.
The Muvi trigger fires when new content is created and passes that item's details to FlowMattic. The Google Sheets step adds a row to your tracker, with the values you map, such as the title, its type and when it was added.
Only creation is covered. When content is edited or removed later, the row stays as it was. Muvi has separate Content Updated and Content Deleted triggers in FlowMattic if your tracker should record those as well.
Release list for the marketing team
Marketing works from the sheet to plan social posts and newsletters around each new title, without needing a Muvi login.
Licence and rights tracking
Add columns for licence dates next to the mapped Muvi details. Your rights manager fills them in as each new title appears in the sheet.

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

- Leave a few columns unmapped, such as Promo date or Notes, for your team to fill in by hand next to the Muvi data.
- To log edits as well, build a second workflow on Muvi's Content Updated trigger that writes to a separate tab, so the main list keeps one row per title.
- If you only want to track some content types, add a Filter after the trigger on the type value Muvi sends, once a test run shows what it looks like.
Questions about this workflow
Will my existing Muvi library be added to the sheet?
No. The trigger reacts to content created after the workflow is turned on. Add older titles to the sheet yourself or by an export from Muvi.
What happens to the sheet when Muvi content is deleted?
Nothing. This workflow only adds rows for new content. A separate workflow on Muvi's Content Deleted trigger can log removals.
Which Muvi content details can I log?
Whatever the Content Created trigger sends. Create a test item and check the trigger data in Task History to see the available values.
Can several people view the Muvi tracker sheet?
Yes. It's a normal Google Sheet, so share it with anyone who needs to read the library list.
