Add Mailchimp subscribers from new Trafft customer
When a new customer is created in Trafft, this workflow adds them to your Mailchimp audience, or updates them if they are already on it, so people who book with you can receive your email newsletters and offers.

What this workflow does
Trafft holds the details of everyone who books an appointment with you. Your newsletters and promotions go out from Mailchimp. Without a link between them, new clients only reach your list if someone exports and imports them by hand. This workflow sends each new Trafft customer to Mailchimp.
The Trafft trigger fires when a new customer is created. FlowMattic passes the customer's details to Mailchimp, where the Add New Member action adds them to the audience you choose. If the email is already in that audience, Mailchimp updates the existing member instead of adding a copy.
The trigger is about new customers, not bookings, so a returning client who books again does not start another run. Make sure your booking form tells people you will email them, since the workflow adds everyone Trafft creates. Task History lists each run with the response from Mailchimp.
Spa and salon newsletters
Every new client created in Trafft joins the Mailchimp audience that receives your seasonal treatments newsletter.
Consultants sharing resources
A coach adds each new Trafft client to a Mailchimp audience used for monthly tips and event invitations.
Clinics sending practice updates
New patients created in Trafft get the practice's updates about opening hours and new services by email.

What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Trafft AccountAccount
- Mailchimp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- If your Trafft booking form collects marketing consent, add a Filter after the trigger so only customers who agreed reach Mailchimp.
- Build a second workflow on Trafft's Appointment Booked trigger if you also want to act on each booking, not only on new customers.
- Create a test customer in Trafft after import so FlowMattic captures the customer fields, then map them in the Mailchimp step.
Questions about this workflow
What if the Trafft customer is already on my Mailchimp list?
Add New Member adds a new member or updates an existing one, so the person is not added twice. Their details are updated with what you map.
Does every Trafft booking add someone to Mailchimp?
No. The trigger is Customer Created, so it runs once when the customer record is created. Later bookings by the same person do not start a run.
Are existing Trafft customers sent to Mailchimp?
No. The trigger only sees Trafft customers created once the workflow is switched on. Export older customers from Trafft and import them into Mailchimp if you need them.
