Add new SuiteDash contacts to Google Sheets as rows

Each contact created in SuiteDash is copied to a new row in Google Sheets, giving you a spreadsheet of your contacts to share, sort or use with tools that read from a sheet.

SuiteDash Google Sheets

2 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 585 sites Free to import

The Add new SuiteDash contacts to Google Sheets as rows workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across SuiteDash, Google Sheets
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

SuiteDash holds your clients and prospects alongside projects and portals. Sometimes you want that contact list outside the platform, for a bookkeeper, a mail merge, or a quick count of new sign-ups this month. Exporting by hand gives you a snapshot that is out of date the next day.

The SuiteDash trigger fires when a new contact is created and passes on the contact's data. FlowMattic then adds a row to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you select, placing each contact detail in the column you map, for example name, email and company where SuiteDash provides them.

Only new contacts are added. Changes you make to a contact in SuiteDash later do not update the sheet, and contacts created before the import are not included. Each contact produces one row, and Task History lists every run with the data that was written.

Contact list for a bookkeeper

An agency shares a sheet of new SuiteDash contacts with its bookkeeper, who sets up invoicing records without needing a SuiteDash login.

Tracking new client growth

A consultant counts the rows added each month to see how many contacts joined SuiteDash and charts the trend in the sheet.

Feeding a mail merge

The sheet of new SuiteDash contacts becomes the source for a welcome letter mail merge run from Google Docs or another tool.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    SuiteDash New Contact

Fires when a new contact is created in SuiteDash. The contact's details are captured and passed on for the spreadsheet row.

  2. Step 2Action
    Google Sheets Add New Row

Places the new SuiteDash contact in a fresh row of the sheet you choose. Connect your Google account and match each contact detail to a column.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • SuiteDash AccountAccount
  • Google Sheets AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Create a test contact in SuiteDash after import to capture its fields, then map them to the sheet's column headings.
  • Add a Filter after the trigger if the sheet should hold only certain contacts, for example those with a company name filled in.
  • Add a column you fill by hand, such as a follow-up date, next to the mapped columns; the workflow writes only to the columns you map.

Questions about this workflow

Does editing a SuiteDash contact update its row?

No. The trigger fires for new contacts only, and the Google Sheets step always adds a row. Edits made later in SuiteDash stay in SuiteDash.

Which SuiteDash contact fields can go in the sheet?

The ones SuiteDash sends with the new contact event. Check a test run in Task History to see what is available before you set up columns.

Can I add my existing SuiteDash contacts?

Not with this workflow, because it reacts only to new contacts. Export your current contacts from SuiteDash into the sheet first, then let the workflow keep adding.
