What this workflow does
Buy Me a Coffee handles the payment, but your members-only posts, downloads or videos live on your WordPress site behind ARMember. Without a link between them you have to create each supporter's account and assign their plan by hand. This workflow does both when the membership starts.
The Buy Me a Coffee trigger runs when its Membership started webhook arrives and passes the supporter's details on. The WordPress New User step turns those details into a site account for the supporter. In FlowMattic's WordPress app, this step checks the email first: if an account with that address already exists, it returns that user's ID instead of making a second account.
The final ARMember step adds that user to a membership plan. Its user ID is already mapped from the New User step. You still choose the plan, and you map the supporter's email and name into New User, because that step ships unmapped.
Every membership start runs the flow, so a supporter who cancels and later rejoins goes through it again with the same account. Test with a real or sandbox membership, then check Task History for the user ID and ARMember's response.

Will a supporter who already has a login on my site get a second WordPress account?
No. New User looks up the email first. When an account exists, it hands that user's ID to the ARMember step instead of creating a duplicate, so the plan is added to the existing login.
Do I need ARMember installed on the same site as FlowMattic?
Yes. ARMember is a WordPress membership plugin, and the plan is assigned on the site where FlowMattic runs this workflow.
Can different Buy Me a Coffee membership levels go to different ARMember plans?
Not as imported, since one plan is set. Put a Router between the New User step and the ARMember step, with one route per level and its own Add User to Membership Plan step, using level conditions that can't both match.
Does a membership update or cancellation change the ARMember plan?
No. Only Membership started triggers this workflow. Updates and cancellations need their own workflows on Buy Me a Coffee's Membership updated and Membership cancelled triggers.
