What this workflow does
A funnel page that collects leads is only half the job. Those people need to land in the CRM your sales team works from, and copying them over by hand means delays and missed entries. This workflow sends each Kickpages lead straight into HubSpot.
The Kickpages trigger starts a run for each custom form a visitor sends in. FlowMattic passes the answers to HubSpot CRM, whose Create Contact action adds a new contact built from the values you map. HubSpot identifies contacts by email address, so make sure your form collects one and map it into the step.
This action makes new records and never edits old ones. If the address already belongs to a HubSpot contact, HubSpot may refuse the request, and Task History shows the response for that run. Every submission runs the step, since the template has no Filter.
Ebook download funnel
Visitors trade their email for an ebook on a Kickpages page. Each one arrives in HubSpot as a contact your team can add to a nurture sequence.
Demo request page for a SaaS product
A Kickpages form asks for name, company and email to book a demo. The new HubSpot contact gives sales the details to reach out.
Event pre-registration
People register interest in an upcoming launch through Kickpages, and HubSpot holds them as contacts ready for the announcement email.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Kickpages Custom Form SubmissionFires when someone submits a custom form on your Kickpages pages. The submitted answers are passed on to the HubSpot step for mapping.
HubSpot CRM Create ContactAdds a new contact to HubSpot CRM from the Kickpages answers you map. Connect your HubSpot account, then run a test submission to see which contact properties the step accepts.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Kickpages AccountAccount
- HubSpot CRM AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Run one test submission with a fresh email address after import, then confirm the contact appears in HubSpot with each mapped value in the right property.
- If returning visitors also fill in the form, HubSpot may reject addresses it already holds. Task History lists those runs, so you can update the existing contacts in HubSpot yourself.
- Kickpages also has a Product Sale Notification trigger in FlowMattic. A copy of this workflow using it puts your buyers into HubSpot too.
Questions about this workflow
What happens when a Kickpages lead is already a HubSpot contact?
The step uses Create Contact, which doesn't update existing records. HubSpot may refuse a duplicate email address, and Task History shows its response for that run.
Which Kickpages answers end up in HubSpot?
Only the ones you map into the HubSpot step. Submit a test entry after import to see what Kickpages sends, then match each answer to a contact property.
Are older Kickpages leads moved to HubSpot when I import this?
No. The workflow acts on submissions made after you turn it on. Earlier leads aren't sent.
