Log every completed SalesIQ conversation to a Google Sheets spreadsheet
Each time a Zoho SalesIQ chat is closed or completed, this workflow adds a row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet, building a running record of finished conversations you can sort and share.

What this workflow does
Live chat tools show you conversations, but reviewing them over weeks, or sharing them with people who don't use the tool, is easier in a spreadsheet. Exporting by hand means the sheet is always out of date. This workflow writes a row for each chat as it ends.
The Zoho SalesIQ trigger fires when a conversation is closed or completed, and passes the conversation data on. FlowMattic then runs the Google Sheets Add New Row action, adding one row to the spreadsheet you choose. You decide what each column holds by mapping conversation details, such as the visitor's name, the operator and the time.
The template logs what the trigger delivers. If you want the full chat text in the sheet, add SalesIQ's Get Conversation Transcript step before the row is written, as the tips explain. Task History records every run, so you can check a conversation that's missing from the sheet.
Weekly chat quality reviews
A support lead filters the sheet by operator each Friday and picks a few finished conversations to review with the team.
Reporting for a manager without SalesIQ access
Your manager wants to see chat volume by day. A shared Google Sheet with one row per completed chat gives them that without a SalesIQ seat.
Tracking which pages start sales chats
If the conversation data includes the page the visitor was on, a column for it shows where chats that reached completion began.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Zoho SalesIQ Conversation CompletedFires when a conversation in Zoho SalesIQ is closed or completed. The conversation data is handed to the Google Sheets step so you can map it into columns.
Google Sheets Add New RowWrites one row per completed SalesIQ chat into the spreadsheet you pick. Map conversation details to your columns and connect your Google account when you import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Zoho SalesIQ AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Zoho SalesIQ Get Conversation Transcript step between the trigger and Google Sheets, then map the transcript into a column to keep the full chat text in the sheet.
- If the conversation data includes the department, add a Filter on it when you want only one team's finished chats in this spreadsheet.
- Build a second workflow on the SalesIQ Conversation Rated trigger that writes ratings to another tab, so feedback sits next to your conversation log.
Questions about this workflow
Does the Google Sheets row include the full SalesIQ chat transcript?
Not as imported. The row holds what the trigger sends. Add the Get Conversation Transcript step before Google Sheets and map its output to a column.
What if a SalesIQ conversation is reopened and closed again?
The trigger fires each time SalesIQ reports a conversation as completed, so a second close can add a second row. Task History lets you trace where a repeated row came from.
Are missed SalesIQ chats logged as well?
No. Missed chats have their own Conversation Missed trigger. This workflow only listens for completed conversations.
Will chats completed before I import the workflow be added?
No. Only conversations completed after the workflow is switched on create rows.
