Log every new Shoprocket order in a Google Sheets spreadsheet
Every time an order is created in your Shoprocket store, this workflow adds it to a Google Sheets spreadsheet as a new row, giving you an order log you can sort, total and share.

What this workflow does
Shoprocket keeps your orders in its own dashboard. When you want to total sales by week, share figures with a bookkeeper or combine them with other data, a spreadsheet is the easier place to work. This workflow keeps that spreadsheet filled as orders come in.
The Shoprocket trigger fires when an order is created. FlowMattic receives the order data and sends it to Google Sheets, where the Add New Row action adds a row to the spreadsheet you pick. You choose which order details go in which columns, such as the order number, customer, items and total.
One order gives one row, so the sheet grows in the order sales arrive. Orders placed before you switch the workflow on are not added, and later changes to an order, such as a refund, don't update its row. Task History shows each run and the data sent to the sheet.
Weekly sales totals
A SUM formula over the total column gives you each week's takings from Shoprocket orders without exporting from the store.
Sharing orders with a bookkeeper
Your bookkeeper gets view access to the sheet and sees every new order as a row, without a login to your Shoprocket account.
Packing lists for a small team
The person who packs orders works from the sheet, checking off each row as the parcel goes out.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Shoprocket Order CreatedFires when an order is created in your Shoprocket store. The order's details are passed to the Google Sheets step for mapping.
Google Sheets Add New RowAdds a row to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you select for each new Shoprocket order. Map the order fields to columns and connect your Google account on import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Shoprocket AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a column for the order date and map it from the order, so you can sort or group the sheet by day, week or month.
- Add a Slack or email step after Google Sheets if you also want a message for each new Shoprocket order.
- Place a test order after import so FlowMattic captures the order fields, then map each column before you switch the workflow on.
Questions about this workflow
Does a refunded Shoprocket order change its row?
No. The workflow only adds a row when an order is created. Refunds and other later changes are not written to the sheet.
Which Shoprocket order details can go into the sheet?
Any field Shoprocket sends with the order. Place a test order after import and the captured fields appear in the Google Sheets step for mapping.
Will my past Shoprocket orders be added to Google Sheets?
No. Only orders created after the workflow is switched on are logged. Export older orders from Shoprocket if you need them in the same sheet.
Can each line item get its own row?
Not as imported. Each order becomes one row. If the order data holds a list of items, an Iterator before the Google Sheets step can add a row per item.
