Log new Bookingmood bookings in a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Every booking created in Bookingmood is added as a new row in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, giving you a running list of reservations you can sort, total and share outside your booking calendar.

Bookingmood Google Sheets

2 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 860 sites Free to import

The Log new Bookingmood bookings in a Google Sheets spreadsheet workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across Bookingmood, Google Sheets
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

Bookingmood keeps your calendar and reservations, but a spreadsheet is often easier for the rest of the work: totals for the month, a cleaning rota, or a list for a co-host who doesn't use Bookingmood. This workflow writes each new booking to Google Sheets as it is made, so the sheet stays current without exports.

The Bookingmood trigger fires when a booking is created. FlowMattic passes the booking data to Google Sheets, where Add New Row writes it to the spreadsheet and sheet you choose. You decide which booking value goes in which column.

Nothing in this template edits a row once it is written. If a booking is changed or cancelled later in Bookingmood, the row keeps the details from when it was created, so treat the sheet as a log of new bookings rather than a live mirror. Task History shows each run and what Google Sheets returned.

Holiday rental owner tracking income

Each new stay booked through Bookingmood lands in a sheet with its dates and amount, ready for a monthly total formula.

Cleaning and changeover planning

Your cleaner has view access to the sheet and sees each new booking's arrival and departure dates as soon as it is made.

Shared record for co-hosts

Two owners share a cabin. The sheet gives both a list of every new reservation without either needing a Bookingmood login.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Bookingmood Bookings Created

Fires when a booking is created in Bookingmood. The booking's data is passed on so you can map it into the spreadsheet columns.

  2. Step 2Action
    Google Sheets Add New Row

Writes a row to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you pick with the booking details. Connect your Google account and match each column to a Bookingmood value.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Bookingmood AccountAccount
  • Google Sheets AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Set up the header row in your sheet before importing, so the Google Sheets step shows your column names when you map the booking values.
  • Add a Filter after the trigger if you only want bookings for one property or unit in this sheet, using whatever value identifies it in the booking data.
  • Want a heads-up as well as a log? Add a Slack or email step after Google Sheets that tells you about each new booking.

Questions about this workflow

Do Bookingmood cancellations or changes update the Google Sheets row?

No. The trigger fires when a booking is created, and the step only adds rows. Later changes in Bookingmood aren't copied to the sheet.

Which booking details can go into the spreadsheet?

Whatever Bookingmood sends with the booking created event. Make a test booking after import, then map the captured values to your columns.

Will existing Bookingmood bookings be added to the sheet?

No. Only bookings created after you switch the workflow on start a run. Export older reservations from Bookingmood if you want them in the same sheet.

Can I add rows to a sheet I share with other people?

Yes, as long as the Google account you connect can edit the spreadsheet. Anyone you share it with sees new rows as they are added.
