What this workflow does

Finishing a course is a natural moment for something personal: a graphic with the learner's name and the course they finished, made the moment they complete it. This workflow hands each completion to Leap AI, where a workflow you have built and published does the image work.

The LearnDash Course Completed trigger fires when a learner completes a course on your WordPress site. FlowMattic passes the completion data, such as the learner and the course, to the next step.

The Leap AI Run Workflow step executes one of your published Leap AI workflows with input parameters. The step ships unmapped: after import you connect Leap AI, pick the workflow and map LearnDash values into its inputs. What the graphic looks like is decided entirely by the Leap AI workflow you choose, so build and publish that first.

As imported, the workflow stops after starting the Leap AI run. Nothing sends the finished graphic to the learner or saves it anywhere until you add a step that does. Complete a test course and check Task History to see what Leap AI returned.

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Leap AI also has a Get Workflow Run action that checks the status and results of a run. Add it after Run Workflow, with a Delay between the two steps, to fetch the output once Leap AI has had time to finish.
Once you can fetch the result, add an Email step at the end that sends the learner their graphic, using the learner email from the LearnDash trigger.
If only some courses should get a graphic, put a Filter between the Course Completed trigger and the Leap AI step that continues for those course titles.

Do I need my own Leap AI workflow before importing?

Yes. The Run Workflow step executes a workflow you have already built and published in Leap AI. Its inputs are what you map from LearnDash after import.

Does the learner receive the Leap AI graphic automatically?

Not as imported. The template starts the Leap AI run and ends there. Add steps to fetch the result and email or store it if you want the learner or your team to get it.

Which LearnDash completions start a run?

Every course completion on your site while the workflow is active. Lesson and quiz completions are not part of this trigger.

Can the graphic include the learner's name?

If your Leap AI workflow takes a text input for it, yes. Map the learner's name from the Course Completed trigger into that input in the Run Workflow step.
