When a form is completed in NativeForms, create a new subscriber in MailerLite
Each time someone completes a NativeForms form, this workflow creates them as a MailerLite subscriber, or updates their record if the address is already there, using the answers you map.

What this workflow does
NativeForms collects the answers, but your newsletter and email sequences run in MailerLite. Exporting respondents and importing them into MailerLite is a chore that tends to slip. This workflow moves each person across as soon as they finish the form.
The NativeForms trigger fires when a form is completed. FlowMattic passes the respondent's answers to MailerLite, whose Create or Update Subscriber action adds a new subscriber or updates the existing one with that email address. You map the email, plus any name or custom fields you collect, to the subscriber's fields.
Every completed form starts one run, so a person who fills in the form twice is updated, not duplicated. Blank answers in a later entry can overwrite details you mapped before, so map only fields the form always asks for. Send a test entry after import to capture the form's fields, and use Task History to see what MailerLite returned.
Quiz results into a newsletter
A skincare brand runs a NativeForms quiz. Everyone who completes it joins MailerLite, with their quiz answer stored in a custom field for later segmenting.
Webinar registration form
A coach uses a NativeForms form to register people for a free session. Each registrant becomes a MailerLite subscriber who can get the joining details by email.
Feedback survey respondents
Customers who complete a feedback survey are added or updated in MailerLite, so your next product email reaches the people who took part.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
NativeForms Form CompletedRuns when someone completes a NativeForms form. Every answer from the entry, the email among them, is handed to the MailerLite step.
MailerLite Create or Update SubscriberCreates a new MailerLite subscriber, or updates the existing one with the same email. Map the email and any name or custom fields from the form, and connect MailerLite.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- NativeForms AccountAccount
- MailerLite AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make the email question required in your NativeForms form, so every completed entry reaches MailerLite with an address to subscribe.
- If you collect a consent checkbox, add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when it is ticked, so only people who agreed are added to MailerLite.
- Store a form answer, such as an interest or quiz result, in a MailerLite custom field so you can build segments from it later.
Questions about this workflow
What if the NativeForms respondent is already a MailerLite subscriber?
The action creates or updates, so their existing subscriber record is updated with the mapped answers instead of a duplicate being added.
Can I put NativeForms respondents into a MailerLite group?
Not as imported, unless the step offers a group option when you set it up. Otherwise add MailerLite's Add Subscriber to a Group action after this step.
Will past NativeForms entries be sent to MailerLite?
No. Only forms completed after you turn the workflow on start a run. Earlier entries stay in NativeForms.
Does MailerLite send a confirmation email to new subscribers?
That depends on your MailerLite account settings, not on this workflow. Check how double opt-in is set up there before you go live.
