What this workflow does
Sign-up forms collect mistyped and made-up email addresses along with real ones. Once they reach your mailing list, they cost you bounces and clutter. This workflow runs a verification check between the form and the list, so you can see the result for each address.
When a visitor submits a Fluent Forms form, FlowMattic sends the email answer to Tomba, whose Verify Email action validates the address. Tomba's response becomes data you can use later in the run. The last step adds the person to a list in Campaign Monitor, with the email, name and any other answers you map.
Be aware of one thing as imported: nothing acts on Tomba's answer. There is no Filter after the check, so every submission continues to Campaign Monitor whatever the result. The check gives you the information, and the tips show how to turn it into a gate. Fluent Forms still stores each entry on your site as usual.

Not as imported. Every submission is added whatever Tomba returns. Add a Filter after the Tomba step that checks its result to keep failed addresses out.
Do I need a Tomba account for Fluent Forms email checks?
Yes. The Verify Email step runs through your Tomba account, which you connect after import. Check your Tomba plan for how many verifications it allows.
What if the address is already on my Campaign Monitor list?
The step's purpose is to add a subscriber to the list. Submit a test with an address that's already there and look at Campaign Monitor's response in Task History to see how it handles it.
Is the Fluent Forms entry kept when Tomba flags the email?
Yes. The workflow starts after submission, so the entry is stored in Fluent Forms as normal whether or not the address passes.
