What this workflow does

A QuestionScout form is a common way to collect sign-ups, but nothing stops a typo or a throwaway address from going into your Campaign Monitor list. Running each address through ZeroBounce first tells you whether it looks deliverable before it is added.

The QuestionScout trigger fires when a new submission is received. FlowMattic sends the email answer to ZeroBounce with the Verify Single Email action, and the verification response joins the run's data. The final step adds a subscriber to the list you pick in Campaign Monitor, using the email and name from the form.

Know what ships in the template. The ZeroBounce result is collected but nothing acts on it, so every submission continues to Campaign Monitor, valid or not. Place a Filter between ZeroBounce and Campaign Monitor that checks the verification result to keep failing addresses off your list.

Insert a Filter after ZeroBounce that continues only when its result shows the value ZeroBounce uses for a valid address. A test run shows the exact value.
Send two test submissions after import, one with a real address and one made up, so you can compare ZeroBounce responses before writing the Filter.
If your form includes a marketing consent question, add it to the Filter as a second condition so only consenting respondents are subscribed.

No. Every submission reaches Campaign Monitor whatever ZeroBounce says. Add a Filter on the ZeroBounce result before the Campaign Monitor step to block failing addresses.

Is a ZeroBounce account required?

Yes. Each check runs through the ZeroBounce account you connect in the verification step after import.

What happens to a QuestionScout respondent already on the Campaign Monitor list?

That depends on how Campaign Monitor handles an address it already has. Test with an existing subscriber and check Task History and the list.
