What this workflow does

This is a small starter workflow for teams who keep image alt text in AltTextify and send newsletters with Mailchimp. It ties the two together at campaign time: each new campaign starts a run that fetches your AltTextify image records, which you can then send wherever you review content before a send.

The Mailchimp New Campaign trigger starts the run. FlowMattic describes this event as a campaign being created or sent, so run a test campaign and check Task History to see when it fires for your account. Whatever campaign data Mailchimp sends with the event is available to later steps; a test run shows you which fields arrive.

The AltTextify Get Images step retrieves all images from your AltTextify account. It only reads: it doesn't look inside the Mailchimp campaign, match its images, or change any alt text. The step ships unmapped, so after import you connect your AltTextify account and confirm the output with a test run.

As imported, nothing uses the image list once it is fetched. Add a step after Get Images that does something with it, such as adding a row to a Google Sheet or posting a summary to your team chat, so the result reaches the person who checks the campaign.

If you only need one image, swap Get Images for AltTextify's Get Image by Asset ID action and enter the asset ID you want to check.
Send a test campaign through Mailchimp after import and look at Task History to see whether creating and sending a campaign each start a run in your account.
Post the result to a team channel by adding a chat step after Get Images, so the person who signs off the campaign sees it without opening AltTextify.

Does AltTextify read the images inside my Mailchimp campaign?

No. The Get Images step lists the images already stored in your AltTextify account. It doesn't scan the campaign or upload anything from it.
