When a new FlexiFunnels purchase happens, log it in Google Sheets and notify the team in Slack
Every new FlexiFunnels purchase is written as a row in your Google Sheet and then announced in a Slack channel, giving you a sales log and a live feed of orders for the team.

What this workflow does
Funnel sales tend to come in bursts around a launch or an email send, and the people who care about them are spread out: the owner watching revenue, the support person expecting questions, the marketer checking which offer converts. This workflow gives them two views of the same purchase, a spreadsheet record and a Slack post.
The FlexiFunnels New Purchase trigger starts a run when a purchase is made in your funnel. The purchase data FlexiFunnels sends, such as the buyer and the product, is passed on.
Next, Google Sheets adds a row. The step ships unmapped, so after import you choose the spreadsheet and match purchase fields to your columns. Then the Slack step posts to a channel you select, with a message you write and fill with details from the purchase.
One purchase means one row and one Slack message. Upsells or order bumps may arrive as separate purchases, depending on what FlexiFunnels sends, so make a test purchase and look at Task History before you settle the column layout.
Launch-day sales feed
A course creator watches a Slack channel during a FlexiFunnels launch, with a post for each sale, while the sheet keeps the full list for the post-launch review.
Support team ready for new buyers
A software seller's support staff see each purchase in Slack, so they know who just bought before the first help request arrives.
Offer comparison in a spreadsheet
A marketer logs product name and price for every purchase, then uses a pivot table to compare how each funnel offer sells.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
FlexiFunnels New PurchaseStarts the workflow when a new purchase is made through FlexiFunnels. The purchase details it sends become available to the Google Sheets and Slack steps.
Google Sheets Add New RowWrites the purchase to a new row in your spreadsheet. The template maps no columns, so pick the sheet and map fields like buyer email, product and amount into the columns you keep.
Slack Send Channel MessageSends a Slack message about the sale. The step ships unmapped: choose the channel and write the text, mapping in the buyer's name and the product so the team sees what sold.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- FlexiFunnels AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
- Slack AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a date column and map the purchase time into it, if FlexiFunnels sends one, so you can group sales by day in the sheet.
- Leave buyer email addresses out of the Slack message if the channel is shared widely, and keep them in the sheet only.
- Put a Filter between the Google Sheets step and the Slack step that continues only for the product you want announced. All purchases still get a row, and only that product's sales reach Slack.
- Use Slack's Send Direct Message action instead of the channel message if one person, such as the owner, should get the alerts.
Questions about this workflow
Do FlexiFunnels form opt-ins start this workflow?
No. It uses the New Purchase trigger. FlexiFunnels also has a New Form Submission trigger in FlowMattic, so build a separate workflow on it for leads.
Which purchase details end up in the sheet and in Slack?
Only what you map. Run a test purchase, look at the trigger data in Task History, then match those fields to your sheet columns and the Slack message.
Will refunds update the row in Google Sheets?
No. The workflow only adds a row when a purchase is made. Nothing in it reacts to refunds, so mark those in the sheet yourself.
