What this workflow does

NeetoForm collects responses on forms you can share anywhere, while your newsletters go out from Mailchimp. Exporting responses and importing them into an audience is a chore you'll put off. This workflow moves each respondent into Mailchimp as soon as they submit.

New Form Submission, the NeetoForm trigger, starts a run whenever someone sends in a response. FlowMattic passes the answers to Mailchimp, where Add New Member adds the person to the list you choose. You map the form's email answer to the member email, along with any name or other answers you want stored on the member.

Mailchimp treats this action as add or update. A new address becomes a new member, and an address already on the list is updated with the mapped answers. Every response runs the step, since there is no Filter, so make sure your form asks for an email and, where you need it, for consent to receive emails.

What if the NeetoForm respondent is already in my Mailchimp list?

Add New Member adds a new member or updates them if they already exist, so the existing member gets the mapped answers rather than a duplicate entry.

Can I add NeetoForm respondents to more than one Mailchimp list?

Add a second Add New Member step after the first and point it at the other list. Each step maps the same email from the form.

Will older NeetoForm responses be copied into Mailchimp?

No. The trigger fires on new responses only, so entries submitted before you turn the workflow on stay in NeetoForm.

What if a NeetoForm response arrives without an email address?

Mailchimp needs an address to add a member, so the step returns an error for that response and Task History shows it. Make the email question required to avoid this.
