When a new response is created in Formbricks, add a new row in Google Sheets
Each time Formbricks creates a new response to one of your surveys, this workflow adds it to a Google Sheets row, so answers collect in a spreadsheet you can sort, chart or share with people outside Formbricks.

What this workflow does
Formbricks is good at asking the questions, but the people who act on the answers often live in spreadsheets: a product manager building a chart, a support lead scanning comments, a client who wants raw data. Exporting by hand gives them a snapshot that is out of date the next day. This workflow keeps the sheet current.
The Formbricks trigger, Response Created, starts a run each time Formbricks opens a new response record on one of your surveys. FlowMattic receives the response data, and the Google Sheets step adds it as a new row in the spreadsheet and tab you choose, one column per answer you map.
Formbricks can store a response before the respondent reaches the end, so a row may hold only the answers given so far. If you want complete responses only, Formbricks also offers a Response Finished trigger you can swap in. Either way, each event adds one row, and Task History in FlowMattic records every run.
Product feedback for the roadmap
An in-app Formbricks survey asks users what to build next. The product team reads and tags every answer in a shared Google Sheet.
NPS tracking over time
Each NPS response lands as a row with its date, so you can chart the score by week in Google Sheets without exporting.
Client survey reporting
You run a Formbricks survey for a client and share the sheet with them, so they see responses as they arrive without a Formbricks login.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Formbricks Response CreatedRuns as soon as Formbricks records a new survey response. The response data, with the answers given so far, comes into FlowMattic for mapping into the sheet.
Google Sheets Add New RowAppends one row per Formbricks response to the spreadsheet tab you pick. Connect your Google account and match each column to a survey answer or detail from the response.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Formbricks AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- To log only completed surveys, change the trigger to Formbricks Response Finished. Responses that stop halfway then never reach the sheet.
- If you run several Formbricks surveys, add a Filter after the trigger on a value that identifies the survey, so each sheet holds answers from one survey only.
- Answer your own survey once after import. FlowMattic then captures a real response, and you can map each question to the right column.
Questions about this workflow
Will half-finished Formbricks responses show up in the sheet?
They can. Response Created fires when the response is first created, which may be before the last question. Swap in Response Finished if you only want finished responses.
Does an edited Formbricks response update its row?
No. This workflow only adds rows. Formbricks has a separate Response Updated trigger, but the template doesn't use it or change existing rows.
Are earlier Formbricks responses copied to Google Sheets?
No. Only responses created after the workflow is on are added. Export older responses from Formbricks if you need them in the same sheet.
Do I need a paid Google account for the sheet?
Any Google account that can edit the target spreadsheet works. You connect it when you import the workflow.
