When a new response received in Fluent Forms, create a new product in WooCommerce and add the details to Google Spreadsheet
A Fluent Forms submission creates a new WooCommerce product from the answers, then adds the same details to a Google Sheets row, so staff can add products through a form and you keep a log of each one.

What this workflow does
Not everyone who supplies product details should work inside the WooCommerce admin. A buyer, a supplier contact or a junior team member can fill in a form instead. This workflow takes each form entry, creates a product in your store from it, and keeps a spreadsheet record of what was added.
The Fluent Forms trigger fires on each new form submission. FlowMattic then runs Create New Product in WooCommerce, filling the product with the answers you map, such as a name, price and description. The last step adds a row to Google Sheets with the submission, and you can also map values the WooCommerce step returns.
Every submission creates a product, so place the form where only trusted people can reach it. Run a test after import to see what status the new product gets and check it in your store before customers can see it. The sheet row is still written if WooCommerce returns an error, and Task History shows which step reported it.
Suppliers proposing new stock
A supplier fills in a product form on a private page. The item appears in WooCommerce for you to review, and the sheet keeps a list of everything each supplier sent.
Shop assistants adding products from a tablet
Staff in a physical shop use a short Fluent Forms form to add new arrivals, without learning the WooCommerce product editor.
Product log for a small catalogue team
Several people add products through the same form. The Google Sheets log shows what was added and when, in one place the whole team can read.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Fluent Forms New Form SubmissionStarts each time a person sends your product form in Fluent Forms. Every answer, such as product name, price and description, becomes a value you can map in the next two steps.
WooCommerce Create New ProductCreates a product in your WooCommerce store from the form answers. Map the product name and the other answers you collect, then run a test to see the fields and the status the product gets.
Google Sheets Add New RowAdds a row to your Google Sheets spreadsheet for the submission. Map form answers, and any product values returned by the WooCommerce step, to the sheet's columns.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Fluent Forms PluginPlugin
- WooCommerce PluginPlugin
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make the product name and price questions required in Fluent Forms, so WooCommerce never receives an entry without the basics.
- If your test run shows the WooCommerce step returning the new product's ID, map it into a sheet column so each row points to the product it created.
- Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when an approval checkbox is ticked, if some entries are drafts that should not become products yet.
Questions about this workflow
Can anyone who reaches the Fluent Forms page create a WooCommerce product?
Yes. Every submission runs the Create New Product step. Put the form on a page only your team or suppliers can reach.
Will the new WooCommerce product be visible to customers straight away?
That depends on the status the step gives it. Submit a test entry after import and check the product in WooCommerce before you use the form for real.
Do Fluent Forms and WooCommerce have to be on the FlowMattic site?
Yes. Both are WordPress plugins, and the trigger and product step work on the site where FlowMattic is installed. Google Sheets is connected by account.
Does a duplicate form entry create two products?
Yes. The workflow does not check for an existing product with the same name, so each submission creates a new one.
