Verify a Typeform submission email with VerifyBee, then create a Pabbly customer

Each new Typeform submission has its email address checked by VerifyBee, and the respondent is then created as a customer in Pabbly Subscriptions, ready for a plan or invoice.

The Verify a Typeform submission email with VerifyBee, then create a Pabbly customer workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 3 steps across Typeform, VerifyBee, Pabbly Subscriptions
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

If a Typeform is how people sign up for your service, the next step is often a customer record in your billing tool. This workflow creates that record in Pabbly Subscriptions and checks the email address with VerifyBee along the way, so you can see which addresses look risky.

The Typeform trigger starts a run for each new form submission and passes the answers on. The VerifyBee step checks the respondent's email address and returns its result.

The Pabbly Subscriptions step then creates a new customer. As imported, it does this for every submission, whatever VerifyBee found: nothing in the template reads the result. To create customers only for valid emails, put a Filter between the VerifyBee step and the Pabbly step.

Every step arrives without mapping. After import you map the email from Typeform into VerifyBee, then map the email, first name and last name into the Pabbly customer. Creating the customer doesn't start a subscription; add Pabbly's Create Subscription action if you need one. Submit a test entry and check Task History.

Service sign-up forms

A SaaS company uses a Typeform for sign-ups and creates each person as a Pabbly customer, so billing can start a plan for them.

Spotting fake addresses

A membership site reviews the VerifyBee result in Task History for each new customer, and adds a Filter once it sees how many addresses fail.

Quotes that turn into customers

A consultancy collects project details in Typeform and sets up the client in Pabbly Subscriptions straight away, ready to invoice.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Typeform New Form Submission

Starts a run for every response to your Typeform. The answers, including the email address and name, are passed to VerifyBee and Pabbly Subscriptions.

  2. Step 2Action
    VerifyBee Verify Email

Verifies the respondent's email address with VerifyBee and returns the result. Map the email from Typeform after import. The template doesn't use the result in any later step.

  3. Step 3Action
    Pabbly Subscriptions Create Customer

Creates a new customer in Pabbly Subscriptions from the Typeform answers. After import, map the Typeform email and name into it. Every submission reaches this step unless you add a Filter.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Typeform AccountAccount
  • VerifyBee AccountAccount
  • Pabbly Subscriptions AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Put a Filter between the VerifyBee step and the Create Customer step that continues only when VerifyBee's result is valid. A test run shows the exact field and value to check.
  • Add Pabbly's Create Subscription action after Create Customer if every sign-up should start on a plan, such as a trial.
  • Make the email question required in Typeform, so every submission has an address for VerifyBee to check.

Questions about this workflow

Does an invalid email stop the Pabbly customer from being created?

Not as imported. Every Typeform response goes on to the Create Customer step. Add a Filter on the VerifyBee result between that step and Create Customer to keep invalid addresses out.

Is a subscription created in Pabbly too?

No. Only the customer record is created. Add the Create Subscription action after it to put each customer on a plan.

What if the respondent is already a Pabbly Subscriptions customer?

Pabbly decides how Create Customer handles an email it already has. Test with an existing customer's address and check the response in Task History.
