What this workflow does
People who finish a quiz expect to hear back about it. ScoreApp shows a results page, but a personal email from your own address gives them something to reply to. This workflow sends that email from Gmail when the quiz is finished.
The ScoreApp trigger fires when somebody answers the last question in your quiz. FlowMattic receives what ScoreApp sends about that person and their quiz. The Gmail step then sends an email through your connected Google account. You map their address as the recipient and write the subject and body, placing their name, score or other quiz data where you want it.
The email needs an address to go to. If your quiz asks for contact details only after the last question, the email may not be in the trigger data yet. Check a test run before you rely on it. Every finished quiz sends one email, so a person who takes the quiz twice gets two.
Personal note after a readiness quiz
A consultant sends each finisher a short Gmail note from their own address, mentioning the score and inviting a reply to book a call.
Course recommendation for learners
A trainer's quiz finds a learner's level. The Gmail message names their level and links to the course page that suits it.
Follow-up for event visitors
Visitors take a quiz at a trade show stand. Each one gets an email from the sales rep's Gmail account while the conversation is fresh.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
ScoreApp Quiz FinishedStarts a run once a quiz taker reaches and answers your final ScoreApp question. The data ScoreApp sends about that person and their quiz becomes available to map.
Gmail Send EmailDelivers one email through the Google account you connect. Map the quiz taker's email address as the recipient, then write the subject and body using their name, score or other quiz fields.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- ScoreApp AccountAccount
- Gmail AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Finish your own quiz once after import so FlowMattic captures the ScoreApp data. Confirm that an email address is in it before you map the recipient.
- Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the email field is not empty, so finishers who skipped your lead form don't cause a failed Gmail step.
- Use a Router with one route per score band, each with its own Gmail step, so low and high scorers get different messages. Set conditions that can't overlap, such as fixed number ranges.
Questions about this workflow
Does the ScoreApp Quiz Finished trigger always include the person's email?
Only if your quiz has collected it by the last question. If your lead form comes later, check a test run; if the address is missing, use ScoreApp's Lead Signed Up trigger instead.
Which address does the Gmail email come from?
From the Google account you connect in the Gmail step, so replies come back to that inbox.
Can the Gmail email include the quiz score?
Yes, if ScoreApp includes the score in the trigger data. Place it in the subject or body when you write the message.
Will people who take the ScoreApp quiz more than once get several emails?
Yes. Each finished quiz runs the workflow, so a repeat attempt sends another email.
