When someone submits your Elementor Pro form, FlowMattic updates their existing contact in Brevo (Sendinblue) with the details they entered, matched by email address, so your email list holds their latest information.

What this workflow does
People change jobs, phone numbers and preferences, and the details in your email tool go stale. If your contacts already live in Brevo (Sendinblue), a form on your site is an easy way to let them update what you hold. This workflow takes an Elementor Pro form submission and writes the new details onto the matching Brevo contact.
The trigger fires when a visitor submits a form built with Elementor Pro. FlowMattic passes the fields on. The Brevo step runs Update a Contact. You map the submitted email address to identify the contact, and map the other fields you want changed.
This step updates contacts; it does not create them. If the email is not already in Brevo, there is nothing to update, and Brevo's response shows on that run in Task History. For a form that also takes new sign-ups, see the tips. Test with an address you know is in Brevo before going live.
Preference update page
A page on your site lets subscribers update their name, company or interests. Each submission refreshes their Brevo contact.
Post-purchase details form
Customers already in Brevo fill in an Elementor form with extra details after buying, and their contact record gains those details.
Event follow-up form
Attendees who are on your Brevo list submit a short form after an event, and their answers are written to their contact.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Elementor New Form SubmissionFires when a visitor submits an Elementor Pro form on your WordPress site. The submitted fields, including the email address, are passed to the Brevo step.
Brevo ( Sendinblue ) Update a ContactUpdates an existing Brevo (Sendinblue) contact with the submitted details. Map the email field to find the contact and the other form fields to the details you want changed, then test with a known contact.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Elementor PluginPlugin
- Brevo ( Sendinblue ) AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make the email field required in your Elementor Pro form so every submission carries the address used to find the Brevo contact.
- If new people may use the form too, put Brevo's Create a New Contact action between the Elementor Pro trigger and the Update a Contact step. For addresses Brevo already holds, Task History shows what that extra step returned.
- Submit the form with an address that is already in Brevo after import, then check the contact in Brevo to confirm the right details changed.
Questions about this workflow
What happens if the email from the Elementor form is not in Brevo?
The step only updates existing contacts, so no new one is made. Brevo's reply for that run shows in Task History. Add Create a New Contact if you want new people added.
Will the Brevo update work with free Elementor forms?
No. Forms are an Elementor Pro feature, so the trigger needs Elementor Pro running on your FlowMattic site.
Which Brevo contact details can the Elementor form change?
The ones you map in the Update a Contact step. Run a test submission to see which values the step accepts and confirm the change in Brevo.
Does every Elementor Pro submission change the Brevo contact?
Yes, as imported. Each submission runs the update. If only some submissions should change the contact, put a Filter between the Elementor Pro trigger and the Brevo step, for example on a checkbox asking to update details.
