What this workflow does
Teams that watch competitor pricing pages, partner terms or their own site for unexpected edits need two things when something moves: someone to look at it now, and a record they can go back to. Fluxguard spots the change. This workflow writes it to a spreadsheet and tells the team in Slack.
The Fluxguard Change Detected trigger fires when a change is detected on a page you monitor. The change data Fluxguard sends, such as which page changed, is passed on, and one test change lets you see every field it includes.
Google Sheets Add New Row then logs the change as one row, and Slack Send Channel Message posts an alert to the channel you choose. Both steps ship unmapped. After import you pick the spreadsheet and match the change details to your columns, then choose the channel and write the message, including the page and a link so people can click through.
Every change Fluxguard reports starts a run, so a page that changes often means many rows and messages. Task History lists each run with what the sheet and Slack returned.

- Add a date column and map the run time into it, so you can sort the sheet and see how often each page changes.
- For a private team channel, use Slack's Send Private Channel Message action in place of Send Channel Message, and pick the channel there.
- If only some monitored pages need a Slack alert, put a Filter between the Google Sheets step and the Slack step on the page URL. Every change still gets its row, and only the pages you pick reach Slack.
