What this workflow does

Stripe sends invoice amounts as raw numbers, often in the smallest currency unit, which look odd in an email or a report. Before you put the amount in front of a person, it helps to format it. This template is a starting point for that: it takes the paid invoice and formats its amount.

The Stripe trigger starts a run each time Stripe records a successful payment on one of your invoices. FlowMattic passes the invoice data to Number Formatter, where the Format Currency action takes the value you map and returns it in a new currency style.

That is all the template does. The formatted value is not sent or saved anywhere until you add a step that uses it, such as a Slack message, an email or a Google Sheets row. Task History shows each run, including what Number Formatter returned, so you can check the result before you build on it.
