What this workflow does

ARForms makes it easy to put sign-up and contact forms on a WordPress site, but the people who fill them in still need to reach the tool you send email from. Exporting entries and importing them into Mailbluster every week means late welcome emails and missed sign-ups. With this workflow, each form entry reaches Mailbluster the moment it is sent.

The ARForms trigger, New Form Submission, fires when a new entry is received. Every field from the form, including the email address, can be mapped in the next step.

The Mailbluster step creates a new lead from those answers. Map the email field and any name fields you collect; a test run shows the lead details the step accepts. There is no Filter, so every submission is sent to Mailbluster, including entries from forms that have nothing to do with your list unless you limit the trigger to one form. Task History records each run with the data sent and Mailbluster's reply.

Questions about this workflow

Does ARForms still save the entry?

Yes. The workflow only reads the submission after it is made. ARForms stores it and sends its own notifications as usual.

What if the person is already a lead in Mailbluster?

The step creates a lead and does not look for an existing one first. How Mailbluster treats a repeat email is up to Mailbluster, and you can read its answer on that run in Task History.

Can I send only one ARForms form to Mailbluster?

Yes. Choose the form in the trigger if it offers a form setting, or add a Filter on a value that identifies the form.

Is a Mailbluster account required for this ARForms workflow?

Yes. Leads are created through your Mailbluster account, which you connect when you set up the step.
