Turn new support tickets into ClickUp tasks
Every ticket opened in Fluent Support becomes a ClickUp task named after the ticket number and subject, with the ticket text and the customer’s name in the description, so the people fixing issues can track them in ClickUp.

What this workflow does
Support agents work in the helpdesk. Developers and project staff often work somewhere else. When a ticket needs their help, someone has to retype it as a task, and details get lost on the way. This workflow copies each new ticket into ClickUp the moment it is created.
The Fluent Support trigger fires when a ticket is opened on your WordPress site. FlowMattic then runs Create Task in ClickUp. The task name is set to Ticket, the ticket ID and the subject, so you can match it back to the helpdesk. The description holds the ticket's content followed by a From line with the customer's name.
The task is a copy, not a link that stays in sync. Replies and status changes in Fluent Support don't update the ClickUp task, and closing the task doesn't close the ticket. Because there is no condition between the two steps, every new ticket produces a task. If only some tickets belong in ClickUp, add a Filter after import.
Bug reports for a plugin developer
Customers report bugs through Fluent Support. Each ticket appears in ClickUp with the full report in the description, ready for a developer to pick up.
Website care plans for an agency
Clients open tickets for content changes. The ClickUp task lets the designer schedule the change alongside other project work.
Weekly planning from support demand
Every ticket lands in ClickUp, so your team can review the week's requests in its usual planning board.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Fluent Support PluginPlugin
- ClickUp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the trigger so only tickets that need other teams become tasks, for example tickets whose subject contains bug.
- Create a test ticket after import and open the new ClickUp task to check that the name and description read the way your team expects.
- Edit the description in the ClickUp step to add more ticket fields from the trigger, such as the priority.
Questions about this workflow
Does closing the ClickUp task close the Fluent Support ticket?
No. This template writes to ClickUp once and never reads from it, so ticket and task statuses are managed separately.
Are Fluent Support replies added to the ClickUp task?
No. Only the original ticket content goes into the description when the task is created. Later replies stay in the helpdesk.
Will tickets opened before import appear in ClickUp?
No. The trigger fires on Ticket Created, so only tickets opened after you switch the workflow on become tasks.
How do I find the matching ticket from a ClickUp task?
The task name starts with Ticket and the Fluent Support ticket ID, so search the helpdesk for that number.
