What this workflow does

WPForms collects leads on your WordPress site, and ActiveCampaign is where you email them. Without a link between the two, someone has to export entries and import them, and new leads wait in the meantime. This workflow passes each new WPForms lead to ActiveCampaign as it comes in.

The WPForms trigger runs for every new submission. FlowMattic sends the email answer and the name answer to ActiveCampaign, whose Create or Update Contact action adds a contact or refreshes the one that already uses that email. The name lands in the first name field and the last name is sent empty.

Only the email and name travel with the template. Anything else from the form stays in WPForms unless you map it. If you want these leads to enter an ActiveCampaign automation, set that automation up inside ActiveCampaign, then send a test submission to confirm the contact arrives as you expect.
