Notify your team on Slack when a Chartink alert triggers
When one of your Chartink screener alerts triggers, this workflow posts the alert to a Slack channel, so everyone on your team sees the same signal without watching Chartink.

What this workflow does
Chartink alerts tell you when a stock screener condition you set is met. If several people act on those signals, each of them has to watch for the alert on their own. A Slack channel gives the whole team one shared feed.
The Chartink trigger fires on a new alert for the events you specify, and FlowMattic receives the alert data Chartink sends. The Slack step then posts a message to the channel you choose, written from those alert fields.
Every alert Chartink sends produces one Slack message. Its one job is to relay the alert. It doesn't place trades, check prices or judge the signal, so what you do with each alert stays your call.
Shared signal channel for a trading group
A small group follows the same Chartink scans. Each alert appears in a #signals channel, so members discuss it in one thread instead of forwarding screenshots.
Alerts on your phone through Slack
You keep Slack on your phone but not Chartink. Posting alerts to a channel you follow puts them where you already get notifications.
Record of when each alert fired
The channel history shows every alert in order, which helps when you review later which signals you acted on.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Chartink New AlertRuns when Chartink sends a new alert for the events you specify. The alert data it sends is captured and passed on for mapping in the Slack message.
Slack Send Channel MessagePosts a message to the Slack channel you pick, built from the Chartink alert fields you map. Use a public channel here and connect your Slack workspace on import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Chartink AccountAccount
- Slack AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Trigger a test alert in Chartink after import so FlowMattic captures the alert fields, then write the Slack message with the ones you want to see.
- Running several scans? After a test alert shows which captured field names the scan, add a Filter on it so only the scans this channel cares about get posted.
- To alert one trader directly, replace the step with Slack's Send Direct Message action. For a private channel, use Send Private Channel Message.
Questions about this workflow
Does this place trades when a Chartink alert fires?
No. It only posts the alert to Slack. Any trading decision or order is up to you.
Which Chartink alerts reach Slack?
Every alert Chartink sends to this workflow's trigger. Add a Filter after the trigger if you only want some of them posted.
Can the Chartink alerts go to a private Slack channel?
The included Slack action is for public channels. Switch to Send Private Channel Message and pick your private channel in that step.
