What this workflow does
Some sites use a simple Contact Form 7 form as a registration form: a member area, a client portal, a course site. Creating each account by hand is slow, and accounts made from mistyped or throwaway addresses clutter your user list. This workflow checks the address and creates the account in one run.
When a visitor submits your Contact Form 7 form, FlowMattic sends the email field to ZeroBounce with its Verify Single Email action. ZeroBounce's answer becomes data in the run. The last step uses the WordPress New User action to create a user on your site from the values you map, such as the username and email.
As imported, every submission goes on to the WordPress step whatever ZeroBounce says, so an invalid address still gets an account. To create users only for valid addresses, add a Filter between the ZeroBounce and WordPress steps on the status ZeroBounce returns. WordPress itself won't create a second user with an email it already holds; the step returns that user's ID, and Task History shows it.

Does ZeroBounce stop invalid emails from getting a WordPress account?
Not as imported. Every submission reaches the New User step whatever the result. Add a Filter on the ZeroBounce status between the ZeroBounce step and the WordPress step if only valid addresses should get an account.
What happens when a Contact Form 7 sign-up uses an email WordPress already has?
No account is added. The New User step finds the user WordPress already has for that email and returns their ID as the result, which Task History shows.
Do I need a ZeroBounce account for this workflow?
