What this workflow does

A viewer who leaves their details on a video has told you they want more. If those leads sit inside Vadootv, they don't hear from you until someone exports them. This workflow passes each captured lead to Mailchimp, where your email campaigns already run.

A run starts each time one of your Vadootv videos records a new lead. FlowMattic then runs the Add New Member action in Mailchimp, adding the person to the audience you select. Nothing is mapped in the template, so after import you connect both accounts, choose the audience, and map the lead's email address and any name fields Vadootv sends.

The workflow has no Filter, so every captured lead is sent to the same audience. Run a test by submitting a lead on one of your own videos, then look at Task History to see the data Vadootv passed and the response from Mailchimp. If the lead's email is already in the audience, Add New Member updates that member with the details you map instead of creating a duplicate.

Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the email is not empty, in case some videos collect leads without one.
If the trigger data includes which video the lead came from, use a Router to send leads from different videos to different Mailchimp audiences, one route per video.
Check your Mailchimp audience settings for how new members are confirmed before you rely on the workflow for a campaign.

The one you choose in the Mailchimp step. The template leaves it blank, so you pick it when you connect your account.

What happens if the Vadootv lead is already in my Mailchimp audience?

Add New Member also covers that case: it updates the existing member record for that Vadootv lead with the fields you map, and no duplicate is created.

Are Vadootv leads captured before import sent to Mailchimp?

No. The trigger is Lead Captured, so only leads that come in after the workflow is on are added.
