Create a ClickUp task when a VNTANA product fails processing
When a product fails processing in VNTANA, this workflow creates a task in ClickUp, so a failed 3D asset becomes a piece of work someone on your team can pick up and track.

What this workflow does
VNTANA processes 3D product files so they can be shown online. When one fails, the product stays unusable until someone re-uploads or fixes the source file, and a failure noticed days later can hold up a launch. This workflow turns each failure into a ClickUp task in the list your team already works from.
The VNTANA trigger runs whenever a product fails processing. FlowMattic receives the data VNTANA sends about that product. The ClickUp step then creates a task, and you build its name and description from the product data, so whoever opens it knows which asset needs attention.
Each failure creates its own task, with no check for an existing one. If the same product fails twice, you get two tasks. The workflow does not retry processing in VNTANA or close the task when a later attempt succeeds. You can review each failure's run, and the data VNTANA sent, in Task History.
3D asset production queue
A studio uploads models for a retail client. Each failed product lands in the 3D team's ClickUp list as a task to fix and re-upload.
Catalog launch readiness
Before a seasonal launch, the e-commerce team tracks failed VNTANA products as ClickUp tasks so nothing missing is found on launch day.
Supplier file follow-up
When a supplier's file fails, the task reminds your coordinator to ask that supplier for a corrected model.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
VNTANA Product FailedRuns each time a product fails processing in your VNTANA account. The product data VNTANA sends is passed to the ClickUp step for mapping.
ClickUp Create TaskCreates a task in ClickUp from the failed product. Connect ClickUp, choose where the task goes, and map product details into the task name and description.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- VNTANA AccountAccount
- ClickUp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Trigger a failure with a test file after import, if you can, so FlowMattic captures real VNTANA data and you can see which product fields to use.
- Put the product name in the task title, so failed assets are easy to scan in the ClickUp list.
- Add a Slack or email step after ClickUp if failures should also alert someone directly.
Questions about this workflow
Does the ClickUp task close when the VNTANA product processes successfully later?
No. The workflow only reacts to failures and only creates tasks. Close the task in ClickUp once the product is fixed.
What happens if the same VNTANA product fails more than once?
Each failure starts a run, so each one creates a new ClickUp task. There is no check for an existing task for that product.
Are VNTANA products that failed before import turned into tasks?
No. Only failures that happen while the workflow is on start a run.
