Create a follow-up task in ClickUp for a missed TeleCMI user call
Every time a TeleCMI user misses an incoming call, this workflow creates a task in ClickUp with the call details you map, so someone on your team can call the person back.

What this workflow does
A missed call is easy to lose. The caller's number sits in a call log nobody checks, and by the time someone notices, the moment has passed. If your team already plans its work in ClickUp, a task for each missed call puts it on the list next to everything else.
The TeleCMI trigger fires when an incoming call is missed by one of your TeleCMI users. FlowMattic receives the call record and passes it to ClickUp, where the Create Task action adds a task to the list you choose. You decide what the task says and which call values go into it, such as the caller's number.
Each missed call creates its own task, even when the same person rings several times. Task History records every run, so you can see the call data TeleCMI sent and the task ClickUp created.
Sales line callbacks
When a prospect calls the sales line and nobody picks up, a ClickUp task with their number lands in the sales team's callback list.
Support desk after hours
Calls missed outside office hours become ClickUp tasks the support team works through first thing the next day.
Small office with one receptionist
Calls missed while the receptionist is on another line turn into tasks, so callbacks are tracked instead of written on paper.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
TeleCMI Incoming User Missed CDRFires when an incoming call is missed by a user in your TeleCMI account. The call record is passed on for use in the ClickUp task.
ClickUp Create TaskCreates a task in ClickUp from the missed call. Connect ClickUp, choose where the task goes, and map the TeleCMI call values into the task.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- TeleCMI AccountAccount
- ClickUp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Put the caller's number in the task name, so your team can see who to call back straight from the ClickUp list.
- Make a test call to a TeleCMI user and let it ring out after import. FlowMattic captures the call data, which you then map into the ClickUp task.
- Use a Router to send missed calls for different TeleCMI users to different ClickUp lists, giving each route a condition on one user that no other route matches.
Questions about this workflow
Does a repeat caller create a second ClickUp task?
Yes. Every missed call creates a new task, so one caller who rings three times leaves three tasks in the list.
Can the ClickUp task be assigned to the TeleCMI user who missed the call?
Not as imported. Every task goes wherever the Create Task step sends it. To split by user, add a Router with one route per TeleCMI user and its own ClickUp step, then check with a test run what each step lets you set.
Are missed TeleCMI calls from before the import turned into tasks?
No. Only calls missed after you turn the workflow on create tasks.
