Each new submission to your 99Inbound form becomes a contact in HubSpot CRM, built from the name, email and other answers you map, so new enquiries reach your sales records.

99Inbound HubSpot CRM

The Create a HubSpot CRM contact from each new 99Inbound form submission workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across 99Inbound, HubSpot CRM
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

99Inbound gives static sites and landing pages a form backend, but the leads it receives still have to reach your CRM. Typing each one into HubSpot takes time and leads get missed. This workflow creates the HubSpot contact for you when a submission comes in.

The 99Inbound trigger starts a run each time a visitor sends your 99Inbound form. Every answer in it, such as the visitor's name, email and message, is passed to FlowMattic for mapping.

The HubSpot CRM step uses Create Contact. You map the form's email to the contact's email and fill other contact properties from the answers. Create Contact makes a new record, so HubSpot may refuse a submission whose email is already a contact. Task History shows HubSpot's response for each run, so you can see when that happens.

Contact form on a static marketing site

Your site is built with a static generator and its form posts to 99Inbound. Each enquiry becomes a HubSpot contact your sales team can work.

Event landing page registrations

A one-page event site uses a 99Inbound form for sign-ups, and each registrant is created in HubSpot for your event follow-up.

Demo requests from a product page

Visitors ask for a demo through a 99Inbound form. The contact appears in HubSpot with the company name and message mapped into its properties.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    99Inbound New Form Submission

Fires when your 99Inbound form receives a submission. The answers are passed on to the HubSpot step. Submit a test entry after import so the fields are ready to map.

  2. Step 2Action
    HubSpot CRM Create Contact

Creates a new contact in HubSpot CRM from the submission. Map the email answer to the contact's email and fill other properties, such as first name or company, from the form.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • 99Inbound AccountAccount
  • HubSpot CRM AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Make the email field required on your 99Inbound form. HubSpot contacts are keyed on email, so a submission without one gives you a poor record or an error.
  • Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the email doesn't end in your own domain, so test entries from your team don't become HubSpot contacts.
  • Map a fixed value such as the form or page name into a HubSpot property you use for lead source, so you can report on where these contacts came from.

Questions about this workflow

What happens if the 99Inbound visitor is already a HubSpot contact?

The step uses Create Contact, which only makes new records. When the email already belongs to a contact, HubSpot may reject the request; its reply appears in Task History. No change is made to the contact you already had.

Which HubSpot properties can the 99Inbound answers fill?

Any you map in the Create Contact step. Run a test submission and open the step to see which properties it offers, then match each one to a form answer.

Are older 99Inbound submissions sent to HubSpot?

No. Only submissions received after the workflow is turned on start a run and create a contact.
