Create a Monday.com item when a new Ziflow comment or reply is added
Each time a comment or reply is posted on a Ziflow proof, this workflow creates an item on a Monday.com board, so review feedback becomes a piece of work your team can assign and track.

What this workflow does
Feedback on a creative proof often turns into changes someone has to make. When that feedback stays inside Ziflow, the people who plan work in Monday.com don't see it until someone copies it over. This workflow moves each piece of feedback onto your board as it is written.
The Ziflow trigger, Comments & Replies, fires when a comment or a reply is added. FlowMattic captures the data Ziflow sends with that event. The Monday.com step, Create Item, then adds a new item to the board you choose, named and filled with the Ziflow details you map in.
Keep the volume in mind before you turn it on. Comments and replies both fire the trigger, so a short back-and-forth on one proof creates several items, one for every message. If you only want top-level comments, or only feedback on certain proofs, add a Filter after the trigger. Each run is listed in Task History with what Ziflow sent.
Turning client comments into change requests
A client marks up a brochure proof in Ziflow. Each comment becomes a Monday.com item the designer can pick up, with the proof name in the item title.
Keeping account managers in the loop
Account managers live in Monday.com, not Ziflow. Items created from proof feedback show them what clients said without asking for access to every proof.
Auditing feedback on a campaign
A marketing team sends all comments on a campaign's proofs to a dedicated board, giving a single list of every remark made during review.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Ziflow Comments & RepliesRuns when a comment or a reply is added to a proof in Ziflow. Whatever comment data Ziflow sends with the event can be mapped into the Monday.com item.
Monday.com Create ItemAdds one item per Ziflow message to the board you pick in Monday.com. Map the comment text and proof details into the item name and columns, and connect your Monday.com account.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Ziflow AccountAccount
- Monday.com AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Post one test comment and one reply after import, then look in Task History. Comparing the two runs shows whether a Ziflow field tells a reply from a comment, so you can use it in a Filter.
- Put the proof name at the start of the Monday.com item name so items from different proofs are easy to tell apart on the board.
- Only care about feedback where someone is called out? Ziflow's @Mentions trigger fires when someone is mentioned in a comment, and you can build a copy of this workflow on it.
Questions about this workflow
Does a Ziflow reply create its own Monday.com item?
Yes. The trigger covers comments and replies, so each one creates a separate item. Add a Filter after the trigger if replies should not create items.
Are Ziflow decisions such as approvals sent to Monday.com?
No. Decisions have their own Ziflow trigger in FlowMattic. This workflow only reacts to comments and replies.
Can the item go into a specific Monday.com group?
Connect your account and open the Create Item step to see the board options it offers. Choose the board, and any group setting the step lists, before you turn the workflow on.
Will older Ziflow comments be copied to the board?
No. Only comments and replies posted after the workflow is on start a run.
