What this workflow does
Some stores sell content itself: an SEO article, a blog post package or a content brief. When a customer pays, the writer's first job is to set up the keyword in NeuronWriter. This workflow does that setup at the moment the payment goes through, using details from the order.
The WooCommerce trigger is Order Paid, which fires when an order's payment is completed. The order data, such as the products bought and the customer's details, becomes available to map. The NeuronWriter step then runs New Query, which creates a content writer query for a given keyword, language and search engine. You decide where the keyword comes from, for example the product name, or a checkout field if your store adds one for the target phrase.
Every paid order runs the workflow, whatever was bought. If your store also sells other things, add a Filter so only content orders create a query. The new query sits in your NeuronWriter account, and Task History shows what was sent and NeuronWriter's response.
Selling SEO articles by the piece
A buyer orders an article and enters the target keyword at checkout. Once they pay, NeuronWriter already has a query for that keyword waiting for your writer.
Content packages for local businesses
An agency sells monthly blog packages through WooCommerce and uses the service name from the order as the keyword for a new NeuronWriter query.
Freelance writer's order desk
A solo writer takes paid commissions on their site, and each paid order sets up the NeuronWriter query they open first when starting the piece.

What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- WooCommerce PluginPlugin
- NeuronWriter AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- If you add a keyword field to checkout with a checkout field plugin, place a test order to check it reaches FlowMattic, then map it straight into the NeuronWriter query.
- Selling physical goods too? Put a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the order contains your content product, so other orders don't create queries.
- Add a step after NeuronWriter that emails your writer, so they know a new query is ready and which order it belongs to.
Questions about this workflow
Which WooCommerce orders create a NeuronWriter query?
Every order whose payment is completed. The template has no Filter, so add one if only certain products should create a query.
Where does the NeuronWriter keyword come from?
From the order data you map into the step. A product name is the simplest source. Place a test order to see which values arrive.
Does the order paid trigger fire for cash on delivery orders?
It fires when WooCommerce marks the payment as completed. Check a test order with each payment method you offer to confirm when the run starts.
