What this workflow does
Plumsail Documents builds contracts, quotes and certificates from your templates. Once the file is ready, someone usually still has to download it and email it to the client. This workflow takes that last step off your list by sending the email from Gmail when the process finishes.
The Plumsail Documents trigger starts a run once one of your document processes completes. Whatever Plumsail sends with that event, such as a link to the generated file, becomes data you can map. The Gmail step then sends an email from your connected account. You map the recipient, write the subject and body, and place the document link or file from the Plumsail data in the message.
Two things depend on your Plumsail setup, so check them with a test run before you rely on this. First, the client's email address has to be part of the data that arrives from Plumsail, or you need a fixed address to send to. Second, see whether the Plumsail data gives you a file you can attach or only a link, and write the email to suit. Every finished process sends an email, as there is no Filter between the two steps.
Contracts for a freelancer
A contract is generated in Plumsail Documents from a client's details, and the client receives it by email from your Gmail address as soon as the process finishes.
Course completion certificates
A training provider generates a certificate per attendee in Plumsail, and each finished process emails the certificate to that attendee.

- Use Gmail's Create Draft action instead of Send Email if you want to read each message and its PDF before it goes to the client.
