What this workflow does
Generating images one prompt at a time means typing into a chat window, downloading the result and filing it away. When you have a list of prompts, that routine gets old fast. This workflow lets you keep the prompts in a spreadsheet and collect the results in Dropbox.
A run starts once a fresh prompt row appears in your connected Google Sheets spreadsheet. The prompt in that row goes to Grok by xAI, whose Generate Image action creates a new image from a detailed text prompt using the Aurora model. The image Grok returns is then passed to Dropbox, where Upload File saves it as a file.
Each new row produces one image and one upload. Rows already in the sheet before you turn it on are not processed. The template does not write anything back to the sheet, so you will not see which rows are done unless you add a step for that. Check a test run to see how Grok returns the image before you map it into the Dropbox step.

Questions about this workflow
Does Grok process prompts already in my Google Sheet?
No. The trigger fires for rows added after the workflow is turned on. Prompts already in the sheet are not sent to Grok.
Do I need an xAI account for the Grok image step?
Yes. The Generate Image step runs through the xAI account you connect in FlowMattic, and any usage is billed by xAI to that account.
Can I see in the sheet which prompts already have images?
Not as imported. The workflow does not write back to Google Sheets. The images in Dropbox are the record of what has been generated.
Where in Dropbox do the Grok images end up?
Wherever you point the Upload File step after import. It ships unmapped, so set it up, map the image from Grok, and add a test row to confirm where the file lands and what it is called.
