Get Slack notifications for new Mautic form submissions
Each time someone submits a Mautic form, this workflow posts a message to the Slack channel you pick, with the submitted details you map into it, so your team sees new form entries where they already talk.

What this workflow does
Mautic records form submissions against contacts, but nobody sees them unless they open Mautic and look. If your sales or support team lives in Slack, a lead from a demo request form can sit unread for hours. This workflow puts each submission in front of the team as a channel message.
The Mautic trigger, Form Submit, runs when a form is submitted in Mautic. The submitted values arrive in FlowMattic as data you can map. The second step uses Slack Send Channel Message to post into the channel you choose. You write the message text and drop in the values you want, such as the name, email and form answers.
Every form submission sends a message, whichever Mautic form it came from, because the template has no Filter. If you run several forms and only care about one, add a Filter after the trigger. Task History keeps a record of each run and the response Slack returned.
Demo requests for a sales team
A Mautic demo request form on your pricing page posts each request to a #sales-leads channel, where a rep can claim it with a reply in the thread.
Event sign-ups in a team channel
Registrations from a Mautic webinar form appear in a channel the event team watches, so they can see sign-ups as they arrive without opening Mautic.
Feedback forms routed to product
A Mautic feedback form on your site sends each response to the product team's Slack channel, with the comment text included in the message.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Mautic Form SubmitRuns when a form is submitted in Mautic. The submission's values become available to map in the Slack message. Connect your Mautic account and send a test entry so FlowMattic captures the fields.
Slack Send Channel MessageSends a message into the Slack channel you choose for these alerts. Write the text and insert the Mautic form values you want the team to see, after linking the Slack workspace that holds that channel.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Mautic AccountAccount
- Slack AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the Mautic trigger that checks the form name or ID, so only the form your team cares about posts to Slack.
- To alert one person instead of a channel, swap the Slack step's action for Send Direct Message and pick the teammate who handles these entries.
- Put the contact's email near the start of the Slack message so it shows in the notification preview and teammates can tell entries apart at a glance.
Questions about this workflow
Will every Mautic form post to Slack?
Yes, as imported. The trigger fires for any form submitted in Mautic. Add a Filter on the form name or ID if you want messages for one form only.
Can the Mautic alert go to a private Slack channel?
Send Channel Message is the action in this template. For a private channel, use Slack's Send Private Channel Message action instead, and for one person use Send Direct Message.
Does the workflow change anything in Mautic?
No. It only reads the submission. The contact and form result stay in Mautic exactly as Mautic saved them, and the workflow just posts a copy of the details to Slack.
Are earlier Mautic submissions sent to Slack?
No. Only forms submitted after you turn the workflow on start a run. Older entries stay in Mautic and are not posted.
