Log every new Synchroteam job in a Google Sheets spreadsheet
Each new job created in Synchroteam adds a row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet, so your office has a running list of field jobs it can sort, filter and share outside Synchroteam.

What this workflow does
Synchroteam is where you schedule and dispatch field work. Office staff, finance and managers often want the same jobs in a spreadsheet, for weekly reviews, billing checks or sharing with someone who has no Synchroteam login. This workflow puts every new job into Google Sheets as it is created.
The Synchroteam trigger fires on Job Created and passes that job's details to FlowMattic. The second step, Google Sheets Add New Row, writes them into the spreadsheet you choose, with each value in the column you map.
The row records the job as it was when created. Later changes in Synchroteam, such as a new time slot or a completed status, are not written back to the sheet by this template. Create a test job after import to see which details arrive and map them to your columns.
Weekly job review
An operations manager filters the sheet by week to see how many jobs were booked and for which customers.
Billing preparation
Finance works from the spreadsheet of new jobs to prepare invoices without needing access to Synchroteam.
Sharing with a subcontractor or client
A partner who doesn't use Synchroteam can view a shared sheet of the jobs created for their account.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Synchroteam Job CreatedStarts the workflow when a new job is created in your connected Synchroteam account. The job's details become data for the Google Sheets step.
Google Sheets Add New RowAdds a row with the job's details to the spreadsheet you choose. Map Synchroteam values to your columns and connect your Google account during import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Synchroteam AccountAccount
- Google Sheets AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Set up headings in the first row of your sheet before you import, so the columns appear in the Add New Row step ready for mapping.
- Add a Filter after the trigger to log only certain jobs, for example one job type, once a test job shows the values Synchroteam sends.
- Add a Slack or email step after the sheet if the office also wants a message for each new job.
Questions about this workflow
Does the sheet update when a Synchroteam job is completed?
No. The trigger is Job Created, so the row reflects the job when it was made. Status changes later on don't reach the sheet.
Will jobs created before import be logged?
No. Only jobs created after the workflow is on get a row in Google Sheets.
Can I log jobs to different sheets by type?
Yes. Add a Router after the trigger with one route per job type, each with its own Add New Row step, and use conditions that can't match the same job.
