Log every new Tilda Publishing lead in a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Each lead sent from a Tilda Publishing website form is added to a new row in Google Sheets with the answers you map, giving you one spreadsheet of leads to sort, share and follow up from.

Tilda Publishing Google Sheets

2 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 1.9k sites Free to import

The Log every new Tilda Publishing lead in a Google Sheets spreadsheet workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across Tilda Publishing, Google Sheets
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

Forms on a Tilda site collect leads, but your sales notes, follow-up dates and reports may live in a spreadsheet. Copying every lead into it by hand is slow, and leads get missed. This workflow adds each new Tilda lead to Google Sheets the moment the form is sent.

The Tilda Publishing trigger fires when a new lead comes in from a website form. FlowMattic receives the form answers and passes them to Google Sheets, which adds a row to the spreadsheet you select. You match each column to the form answer it should hold.

Every lead adds one row, so the sheet becomes a running list of everyone who filled in your forms. If you have several forms and the lead data names the form, map that into its own column to tell them apart. Open Task History to see each Tilda lead FlowMattic received and the row it added.

Landing page for a product launch

Sign-ups from a Tilda launch page collect in a sheet, where you add a column for the date you contacted each person.

Small sales team without a CRM

The team works its leads straight from a shared Google Sheet, adding owner and status columns next to the data Tilda sends.

Agency reporting to a client

You build the client's site in Tilda and share the lead sheet with them, so they see every enquiry without a Tilda login.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Tilda Publishing New Lead

Fires when a new lead is sent from a form on your Tilda Publishing website. The submitted answers are passed on for mapping.

  2. Step 2Action
    Google Sheets Add New Row

Adds a row to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you select for each Tilda lead. Connect Google, set up column headers, then map the form answers to them.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Tilda Publishing AccountAccount
  • Google Sheets AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Submit a test lead through your Tilda form after import, so FlowMattic captures the real field names before you map the Google Sheets columns.
  • Leave a few columns to the right of the mapped ones for your team's own notes, such as owner and follow-up date. New leads only fill the columns you map.
  • Add a Slack or email step after Google Sheets if you also want someone told about each new lead as it arrives.

Questions about this workflow

Does Tilda still save the lead in its own Leads list?

Yes. The workflow only receives a copy of each lead. Tilda handles the form as it normally does.

Will leads from all my Tilda forms go to the same sheet?

Yes, as imported. Every lead the trigger receives adds a row. Add a Filter after the trigger with a condition on a value that identifies the form if you want only one.

Are Tilda leads from before the import added to Google Sheets?

No. Only leads sent after you turn the workflow on are written to the sheet.

It's very straightforward, has a lot integrations and they work well. It is one thing to 'integrate' new external software, but integrating it well, with lots of options is where FlowMattic shines.
