Post a Discord notification for every new Rezdy order

Every new order created in Rezdy posts a message to a Discord channel you choose, so your tour or activity team sees each booking as it comes in without watching the Rezdy dashboard.

The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

Tour and activity operators often run their day from a team chat. Guides, drivers and front-desk staff need to know when a booking lands, but they don't all have a Rezdy login or the time to refresh it. This workflow sends each new Rezdy order to a Discord channel where the whole team can see it.

The Rezdy trigger fires when a new order is created. The order details Rezdy sends, such as the customer's name, the product booked and the date, become data you can map. The Discord step then posts a message to the channel you pick, with the text you write and the order values you place in it.

The message is sent once, when the order is created. Later changes and cancellations do not post again, because the template only listens for new orders. Rezdy has separate FlowMattic triggers for Updated Order and Canceled Order if you want messages for those as well. Think about what you post: anyone who can read the channel will see the details you map in.

Guides see new bookings for their tours

A walking tour company posts each new Rezdy order to a guides channel, so the guide on that tour sees new bookings for their slot.

Front desk at an activity centre

Staff at a climbing or kayak centre watch a Discord channel for new orders and get kit ready for each booking.

Owner keeping an eye on sales

A small operator gets a Discord notification on their phone for every new Rezdy order, without opening the Rezdy app.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Rezdy New Order

Runs when a new order is created in your Rezdy account. The order and customer details become available to place in the Discord message.

  2. Step 2Action
    Discord Send Channel Message

Drops a booking note into the Discord channel your team reads. Write the text and map in the Rezdy order details you want the team to see, then create a test order to check the result.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Rezdy AccountAccount
  • Discord AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Keep personal details like phone numbers out of the message if the channel is shared widely, and post only the product, date and number of people.
  • Add a Filter after the Rezdy trigger that continues only for one product, if a channel is meant for a single tour or activity.
  • Build a second workflow on Rezdy's Canceled Order trigger that posts to the same channel, so the team also sees bookings that drop out.

Questions about this workflow

Does the Discord message update when a Rezdy order changes?

No. A message is posted once, when the order is created. Order edits and cancellations need their own workflows using Rezdy's Updated Order or Canceled Order triggers.

Which Rezdy order details can appear in the Discord post?

Any value Rezdy sends with the new order. Create a test order after import and check the captured data in the Discord step to see what you can map.

Can different Rezdy products post to different Discord channels?

Not as imported. Add a Router with one route per product, each with its own Discord step pointing at the right channel.

An excellent replacement to Zapier with unlimited tasks and full control over data. Customer service is fantastic! Have had hands-on support from owner who is ultra helpful and they have even been integrating new SAAS options continuously.

Brad

It's an exceptional product. Works great and extremely valuable. I saved thousands of dollard on Zapier, as Flowmattic makes me able to host the automation myself. And very deeply integrates with the products I need.
