Prompt Ocoya AI responses using newly caught webhooks and set them as webhook response

Send a prompt to a FlowMattic webhook, have Ocoya write AI copy from it, and get that copy back as the webhook’s response, giving you a small copywriting endpoint of your own.

Webhook Ocoya Webhook Response

3 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 1.4k sites Free to import

The Prompt Ocoya AI responses using newly caught webhooks and set them as webhook response workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 3 steps across Webhook, Ocoya, Webhook Response
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

Sometimes you want AI-written copy inside another tool, such as a form, a script or a no-code app, without building an integration with Ocoya yourself. This workflow turns your WordPress site into that link: one request goes in, the generated copy comes back.

The Webhook trigger gives you a URL that receives the request and its data, such as a prompt. FlowMattic passes that prompt to Ocoya, whose Create AI Copy action writes copy using the prompt and your Ocoya profiles. The Webhook Response step then sets the reply sent back to the app that called the webhook, filled with the copy Ocoya returned.

The workflow doesn't publish or schedule anything in Ocoya. It only returns the text to the caller, which decides what to do with it.

Caption ideas from a spreadsheet script

A script loops through product names and calls the webhook for each one, getting back a caption it writes into the next column.

Copy button in a no-code app

An internal tool built in a no-code builder calls the webhook when a marketer clicks Generate, then shows the Ocoya copy in the app.

Drafts for a client portal

An agency's portal sends a client's brief to the webhook and displays the returned copy as a first draft for the client to review.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Webhook Capture Webhook Response

Provides a webhook URL; each request posted to it starts a run. Send a sample request with your prompt field after import so FlowMattic captures it for mapping.

  2. Step 2Action
    Ocoya Create AI Copy

Creates AI copy in Ocoya using a prompt and your Ocoya profiles. Map the prompt from the webhook data and connect your Ocoya account, then check the output with a test request.

  3. Step 3Action
    Webhook Response Set Webhook Response

Sets the response returned to the app that called the webhook, built from the data in earlier steps. Map the copy Ocoya produced into it so the caller receives the text.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Ocoya AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Turn on "Require authentication on incoming requests" in the Webhook trigger and send the key with each call, so only your own tools can use your Ocoya account through this URL.
  • Add a Filter between the Webhook trigger and the Ocoya step that continues only when the prompt is not empty. Blank requests then stop before Ocoya and the Webhook Response step.
  • If you also want the copy scheduled as a post, add Ocoya's Schedules A Post action after Create AI Copy and map the generated text into it.

Questions about this workflow

Does the app calling the webhook get the Ocoya copy back?

Yes. The Set Webhook Response step returns the data you map in it to the caller. Map the copy from the Ocoya step there.

Can anyone with the URL use my Ocoya account?

They can while authentication is off. Turn on the Webhook trigger's "Require authentication on incoming requests" setting and send the key from your own apps.

Does this post anything to social media through Ocoya?

No. Create AI Copy only writes text. Nothing is posted or scheduled unless you add Ocoya's Schedules A Post action yourself.

What should a request to the Ocoya webhook include?

At least the prompt you want Ocoya to work from. Send a sample request after import so FlowMattic captures its fields, then map the prompt into Create AI Copy. Other fields you send can be mapped as well.
